As a psychologist, I see how valuable it is to be able to talk through a distressing birth experience and work through the connected feelings together. I help women make room for difficult feelings, respond to emotional distress and adjust unhelpful beliefs so they can begin to move forward feeling lighter.
With long waiting lists for individual therapy and an increasing sense of the possibilities of online communities, The Birth Healing Collective is part of a movement to bring much-needed psychological support out of the therapy room.
The information I share is evidence-based and draws on my clinical expertise in both trauma and perinatal psychology. Via online workshops, articles, live Q&As and online programs, The Birth Healing Collective aims to support parents to understand, reflect and heal from the impact of a difficult birth.
